A relaxed pub right next to Notting Hill Gate station with one of the area's best courtyard beer gardens: heated, with hanging lights, lush greenery, and bold wall art, seating up to 47. Wednesday night quiz. Live sports on Sky. The famous Gate Theatre (75-seat fringe venue) used to be upstairs. Open until midnight every day. Probably the oldest pub in the area, dating from the 1800s.
Head straight through to the heated courtyard, and with a midnight close every day, it outlasts almost everything else by the Gate.
