Grade II-listed building from 1887 with a curved Romanesque facade of red brick and terracotta with two towers. Once used for rehearsals by the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. Now a multi-purpose community arts venue -- theatre, art gallery, music studio, bar with Caribbean cuisine, and garden courtyard. Permanent base of the Notting Hill Carnival (Carnival Village Trust). The cultural heart of the neighbourhood.
